  1. Hmmm.... for $30, I may have to give this one a try - I've been out of absinthe for two months, nearly.
  2. Looks like Tempus Fugit Spirits has updated their website. Tempus Fugit
  3. I myself enjoy the subtle numbing sensation, and is why I smoked cloves on and off for 5 years.
  4. Well then, I happily stand corrected.... they oughta update their website though.
  5. I don't know Pan Buh, but you can see it clear as day sitting on their bar in one of their pictures on the website. I was made aware of the place when a guy on a 49ers forum told me he went there and had "real absinthe". After checking out their website, I told him it was highly doubtful.
  6. Don't be so ashamed; there's a lounge in San Francisco with an equally disgusting attempt to cash in on the absinthe name. So far as I can tell, they serve Absente, Trul 1792, and some other stuff novices can't distinguish between fake vs real. www.absinthe.com
  7. Let us know when if/when/how much they drop the price. I know everything in Hawaii is more expensive, but twice the price is insanity!
  8. I should have had my bottle of Sirene days ago, but alas the package was damaged on it's way and FedEx deemed it undeliverable. I wrote Binny's asking if they had shipped out a replacement bottle, but I've received no word in two days now. If I don't here from them soon, I'll have to get more proactive with both Binny's and FedEx to see what's being done about this.
  9. I believe you put an unnecessary "e" at the end of that sentence there. Oh, and the last of my La Tourment was dumped down the kitchen sink..... No word yet on how much it will cost to have my sink replaced.
  10. Of anything I've ever had claiming to be absinthe, whether it be genuine or a Czech oil mix, this crap goes down as the 2nd worst product I've had the misfortune of purchasing, surpassed only by the crap that is L'extrait de la fee. I read the reviews on here and expected a badly flavored absinthe, but all the reviews in the world couldn't have prepared me for how bad this was. We have chechsinths doing their best to immitate absinthes. Is LTV the first absinthe doing it's best to immitate a chechsinth?
  11. Please tell me it tastes different there than it does out of the bottle. I bought a 6-pack of the Oaked AB, and couldn't taste a lick of difference between oaked and the regular AB. At nearly twice the price, I doubt I'll ever try the oaked version of AB again. BTW, right now I'm drinking Duplais Verte, which was preceded by a glass of Lucid. I'm not sure if it's because I let it breathe for several months since my last glass or because I mixed it with more water than usual, but the "spicy sweat" flavor that I've sadly associated with Lucid was undetectable. My next glass of Lucid will definitely be made stronger to see if the flavor has indeed improved over time.
  12. Le Tourment Verte is available on bevmo.com, though the reviews I've read don't paint it in a very good light. BTW, any new news on when Tempus Fugit Spirits will start distributing Duplais and Co. ?
  13. I'm so glad this is such a witty group.
