  1. I finally tried chocolate covered bacon at the fair. It was not as good as I thought it would be, but I really did not like the way they executed it. The bacon was very good and was icy cold and coagulated and everything.
  2. I'll keep my toes crossed for ya.
  3. It gets even better. Just you wait, our new found friend......just you wait.
  4. Enjoy your birthday with a post. Lurking for two years, I'm sure you've noticed what a nice group of folk we are. Really do hope you are having a great day. Best wishes.
  5. Yup, I'm-a thinkin' it's a red wine night. Maybe I'll go completely crazy and have some something in the Zin variety.
  6. I guess the Cherub is not a good idea.... btw is an empty liquor bottle not a candlestick... thanx for the input Hunh. An empty liquor bottle? I thought it was the base of a bong. Well, at least it resembled one I saw on TV once.
  7. I will definitely be submitting. This project is right up my alley!
  8. Thinking of you today, buddy. Miss ya.

  9. I just have to pipe in here about Crystal Head Vodka. I actually really like it for sipping straight over ice, squeeze of lime. I think it is a very good tasting vodka. I think the bottle is pretty, too. (Of course I also have Crystal Head Vodka candle holders I stole from a CHV party - those are really purty.) And I am totally on board with the Anti-tini crew - with the exception of the Mollytini, which was invented for Molly, and named "tini" in jest. It's an ironic cocktail.
  10. Hey, buddy. Happy b-day. I hope I can make it to your slamming b-day party this weekend. Besides, I still need to pick up my undies and garter belt I left over at your place last time I was there. And my hair straightener. Woo Hoo!
  11. Good, onacuz I still wanna hear it for the hell of it.
  12. Molly and I celebrated the 4th in the traditional way - at a French restaurant with champagne cocktails. I believe Ms. Molly had a Kir Royale, while I stuck to my usual French 75. Just one cocktail at dinner, but the food was rich enough to cover for the small alcohol intake. Molly had foie gras and filet mignon. I had escargot and coq au vin. We both split a chocolate souffle with cointreau whipped cream. I had another two glasses of white wine when we got back to my house. We were able to watch fireworks right from my apartment.
  13. Tonight is officially "Mexican Fiesta" night on my lovely patio. Some of Mexico's finest beers, and probably some tequila will in order. Heck, I might even make my famous Guacamole. Orale.
  14. Very few of my pizzas contain a tomato based sauce. Don't knock all pizzas because of the tomato.
  15. I was finally able to hear the submission. Really good stuff.
  16. Tell us about the cocktails, please, if you remember them? We had lemon drops, and then we drank some vodka straight that was wonderful. It was distilled with honey, and the honey flavor really came through. Then we had some white wine. At the bowling alley (yes, we went Rock-N-Bowling) we had gin and tonics and screwdrivers. For breakfast the next morning, we had caviar while watching a Vincente Minelli marathon.
  17. I still can't hear the song on MySpace. My computer doesn't want to play any sounds, except for itunes at the moment, which seems to be a common Vista problem, but I have not found a solution yet. Very frustrating.
  18. Love love love shoegaze. Can't wait to hear all these tracks.
  19. I am so anxious to hear it, after such rave comments on it.
  20. Hmmmm. I could not get the song to play on MySpace last night, so I still couldn't hear it. It was strange. Other band pages would play, just not that track. MySpace is blocked at my office, so I can't hear it hear, either.
