  1. Bright greetings, d4dahl!
  2. Bright greetings, SilverFish! I see that you hail from Baltimore… how fitting. I was really impressed with the Poe Museum in Virgina. Have you ever been there? “Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary…”
  3. Wow. It’s astonishing how microcosmic the world truly is. I’ve always fantasized about making a pilgrimage to Denmark. Now that I have a passport, my goal is to visit there within a year or two. I checked out your website, too. The absinthe pictures were lovely. I’d love to learn the Danish language someday… I should get some tapes. Yeah, I’ll probably try the Nouvelle-Orléans next. It comes recommended from several people.
  4. Thank you all for the greetings... the hobbit quote and the ferret pictures made me smile. I recently had to turn down an opportunity to move to Northern California due to their absurd laws against ferrets. I was too afraid that my fuzzies would be taken away from me. They are considered “wild” animals there, even though ferrets have been domesticated for literally thousands of years and cannot survive outdoors. Fortunately, we are safe in Florida. If only they would vindicate absinthe… Here is a picture of my Noah!
  5. Bright greetings! My name is Brandy and I live in Clearwater, Florida. I am a complete novice when it comes to absinthe, so I apologize in advance if I sound ignorant. Up to a few months ago, my only exposure to absinthe has been through books and movies. I always assumed that absinthe was unobtainable in the United States. I actually started researching the history of absinthe for a short story that I was writing. Imagine my delight when I discovered that absinthe could readily be purchased! I was utterly clueless about where to begin, and the Wormwood Society’s purchasing advice and reviews were invaluable to me. I thank your organization for publishing such a lovely and informative website, which no doubt saved me from making some horrible mistakes. I recently purchased a couple of bottles of absinthe. I think that Abisinthe Amer 72° is the best so far, but I look forward to sampling different brands. About me: I’m twenty-six years old and I have two ferrets. I'm a very earthy Gemini. I’m an animal lover who is fascinated by history, mythology, folklore and ghost stories. I dearly love traveling to historical places, reading, writing short stories, dancing, art museums, literature, camping, and drinking spirits and coffee. Shade and sweet water to you all.
