  1. Shortly after making this introduction post I did order the Jade 1901 and Edouard along with a fountain, glasses and spoons. Upon tasting both 1901 and Edouard a few nights ago I honestly cannot taste much difference. Both have a very strong anise flavor and I don't really taste much else in the way of herbs and whatnot. The Edouard is a bit spicier or has more bite probably due to the slightly higher alcohol %. I like them both but unfortunately have not experienced a lower grade absinthe so it is tough to truly appreciate how much better these may be. All in all I am happy with the purchase and over time perhaps my palate will evolve and be able to distinguish between the subtle differences in flavors between brands. Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Cheers!
  2. Before placing an order from Absinthes.com I was wondering if any of you live in New Hampshire and have any issues with your orders being delivered? Thanks!
  3. Hi, I'm Andy from New Hampshire. I was initially intigued by absinthe years ago and something (out of nowhere really) recently sparked my interest once again so here I am. I've been lurking for about 2 weeks now and I am ready to get my feet wet. I am very tempted to order a bottle of PF 1901, d'Edouard or Roquette to pop my cherry, but just for the heck of it I stopped by the local liquor store to see what is available locally. The only things they carry are: Absinthe Ordinaire, Absente and Grande Absinte. I believe there is one place around here that also sells Lucid. Should I even bother with any of that stuff or should I just stick to the original plan and order a premium bottle? Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas!
