  1. I've gotten some very cold deliveries and everything was fine. If I were to ship booze, I would wrap it well with bubble wrap or lots of newspaper. Not only will it keep it from breaking but will insulate and slow the temperature changes. That's why some folks have cellars, to stabilize/minimize temp changes. Just one drunks opinion. Cheers!
  2. Thanks for the video, Cheryl. Very nice. Cheers!
  3. And the location. What a fun run. Cheers!
  4. Sounds interesting. Unfortunately, our great state *yawn* won't stock any AB or coors products over 3.2 ABV or ABW.....I forget. I've gotten by without them for quite a spell. Cheers!
  5. Ahhhhh, The Abyss. I would love some but they don't have it within a few hundred of me. I reckon my Brews Berry mead will do for now. Cheers!
  6. My rule for buying almost anything: Buy the best you can afford and you won't be disappointed. OR, if you can't afford decent absinthe...........how about an Appletini?
  7. I agree with Joseph. I have a few "go to" absinthes in a box. Most of us went through a phase of buying the latest and greatest. Those people are appreciated. It just seems to me that there is always room for improvement. When I see an absinthe with reviews of 4 1/2 stars, consistently..........I'll be counting my change. There are a handful that I wouldn't hesitate buying because I know the distiller. And those get my $$$. In other words, enjoy what you buy. You know it's the right thing to do. And yes, I will always post in riddles. F'n Cheers!
  8. Yes, add sugar to suit you. No, you can't harm it. Cheers! B
  9. The batch #38 that I'm sipping was dated 1/27/09. Always interesting when I stagger across a forgotten flask. Cheers!
  10. I wasn't drinking all that exotic booze. Just a little Jade 1901. It is the Oct 06 batch. Cheers!
  11. The world needs to be about 1600 miles closer.
  12. It still is, in my neck o' the woods. I hope. Cheers!
  13. Smaller is better in some cases. Good luck and have fun. Cheers!
  14. Sipped some absinthe from a bottle with a handmade label. All it had on it was #30* 10/12/08 71%. The folks sharing it thought it was tasty. It's good to form your own opinion. Cheers!
  15. Not, meh. I've found so much more appreciation in such things of late.
  16. Howdy Elf! Good to see you. Cheers!
