  1. I bought the set from Catskill Cellars that has Meadow of Love and Walton Waters. I tried Meadow of Love and I'm in love with it! I have yet to break open the Walton Waters though.
  2. I just did a review for this Pernod, but I added it to the reviews section since it wasn't listed. Sorta ticked at myself for spending $75 on this bottle when for the EXACT same price, I could've bought something much better. I bought it before I discovered this group.
  3. I just created my account on that side so now I'll be able to review. I've so far only tried 3 absinthes...Lucid, the new Pernod, and Meadow of Love.
  4. Thanks for the warm welcome everyone I just had a glass of the MoL with a sugar cube and it tasted very delicious and smelled very beautiful. I'm slow dripping my 2nd glass, but this one is without a sugar cube. I actually used a new glass so that there's no trace of sugar Luscious Oily Lesbians!. I really love it and I agree with what has been said in that the US is starting to be able to compete with some of the best absinthes out there in the world today.
  5. The MoL is truly wonderful! My first absinthe experience was with Lucid and then I decided to try the Pernod, which I think is actually worse than Lucid. I decided to try MoL and ordered a set that included Walton Waters. I ordered them from Catskill Cellars. After my experience with US Customs, I will be avoiding ordering from overseas, which is a major bummer. I was hoping that it may have made it through without Customs checking but unfortunately that wasn't the case. Thankfully Absinthe Classics have been really cool and understanding and are offering to try again once they get the bottle back, but they suggested to try and ship to another name and addy, so will try using my mom's address. If that doesn't work, then I'll wave the white flag and give the victory to US Customs.
  6. I ordered it from Absinthe Classics. They're being really cool about the issue I'm having with customs. Just waiting for the formal paperwork from Customs though to go on to the next step.
  7. I've gotten my feet wet so to speak and have tried gone onto my 2nd bottle of absinthe. 1st one I bought was Lucid and now I'm trying Pernod, both bought at Binny's and have decided it's time to take the training wheels off and move onto something better. I tried to buy a bottle of Absinthe Jade 1901, but it got confiscated when the delivery came over here to the US. So, I'm going to try Meadow of Love next. My name is Sergio and I'm from Chicago, IL
