  1. Ridge Verte. I've been managing an impending migraine with Imitrex, Aleve, and Ridge verte all day. I have to say, it's a pretty great combo.
  2. Plus last night... that makes sense of the fog and patchy memories!
  3. My favorite is still Rogue River Blue: "Rogue River blue cheese is wrapped in grape leaves that have been macerated in pear brandy. Its forward, well-aged flavor tastes of brandy, fruit and burnt cream. A creamy, crunchy-smooth texture conjures specks of rock candy dissolving like divinity. The antique linen-hued paste features random tôile-styled patterns of green blue veins and the rind is gracefully imprinted by its grape leaf wrapping. The flavors of our signature terroir include hints of sweet pine, wild ripened berries, hazelnuts, morels and pears." I used to special order it by the wheel.
  4. Thinking of you lots and hope your day was cheery.
  5. Last night it was Amarone. Today I'm still feeling it, but it was worth it. Red wine kills me, but damn, what a luscious beast that was.
  6. Yeah, not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.
  7. Tonight I am drinking Death in the Afternoons, chilling with the pup on the sheepskin rug, and toasting to having no expectations and not being disappointed tonight.
  8. Happy birthday! I hope it was wonderful.
  9. Thank you everyone! It was a lovely birthday in a very sunny and gorgeous Seattle. Thanks for the shout out, Ron.
  10. Nest time you guys are out, we'll have to try to entice Marc to come to the city for a beverage at Canon.
  11. I don't need to be THAT fancy, Jules. But hey, if that's an option, you know I'll take it!
  12. I'd settle for some fitted shirts cut for a girl.
  13. This is from the menu at Preservation Kitchen: PACIFIQUE ABSINTHE MENU Absinthe is a distilled herbal spirit flavored with wormwood, anise and other herbs. Its flavor is similar to licorice. It is bottled at a high proof and sold as an extract or concentrate, intended to be diluted with iced water and taken as a cool, refreshing aperitif. Yes, real absinthe is legal. No, you will not hallucinate or go crazy. Kinda cracked me up.
  14. I don't use the forums or the site on my mobile, but I would (more than an actual computer) if there was a mobile site or an app.
