I've heard that genuine Absinthe gives a unique feeling of drunkenness not found other liquor. I've heard that it is a clear state of mind kind of drunk, that it helps a creative mind flow. Is this true? And is the true for Absinthe sold in the United States like Vieux Carre or Kübler?

Thanks everyone! I can do four out of five.... Born in New Jersey, raised in Georgia since 3rd grade. I'm up for new things It's always changing, but I gotta say yellow and green Hell yeah Any must have absinthe recommendations?
