  3. I have found that some glasses do and some do not have the air bubbles in them. The very old glasses tend to have bubbles and bar marks on the bottom of the foot. The newer more recent tend not to have or very few. http://yfrog.com/172eastj The above link is a picture of two east glasses the one on the left very old and the right about 5 years. The older has bar marks on the bottom of the foot, glass wear, where it was slid across a table or bar. The second has 3 very small bubbles in the foot. http://yfrog.com/5emoderneastj http://yfrog.com/5ddoselinesj The above links are a large modern East, I believe from the Frenchman several years ago. It has triple dose marks and it has several imperfections, that I find excellent as to their being blown, hand made.
  4. I have not seen this type of dripper before. It is called a Perrenod Dripper. Has anyone used this type of dripper and what is your opinion. http://yfrog.com/3x2piecethumbj
  5. This is circa 1970, actually dated 8/1971. I am not a great fan of Spanish Absinthe, but this was different, and being 38 years old, interesting. http://yfrog.com/7dargenticirca1970mj Color: Pale green Louche: Moderate but slow clouding effect Aroma: Wormwood and Anise sweetness to the fore, soft tone Flavor: Wormwood, Anise and another that I can't quite place, relatively balanced for a Spanish. Finish:Pleasant, slight numbing, a smooth fresh mouthfeel. Overall I would say a 3.5 out of 5.
