  2. When I win the lottery, I'm going to donate a bunch of money. Right after I put heating elements in the road down from my house to melt the snow before I drive on it.
  3. Welcome. I was in Phoenix once with an ex-boyfriend that liked funny cars and the big casinos. I enjoyed the visit because we found a "hole in the wall" Mexican restaurant that was wonderful. Hope you enjoy it here.
  4. I made a lavender cyzer (cyser?) a couple of years ago from a plant in my garden. It was very good, even if I do say so myself. I think I'll get me a plant this spring for my new place and make some more.
  5. Thanks. T73 has told me this several time. Duh.
  6. An alter ego. I only pretend to be T73's sister.

  9. I have a sister with an African Grey. When I was at their home a couple of years ago, I kept hearing my brother in law's voice come out of the bird. It was amazing. Welcome to the forum.
  10. You should see the great glass and spoon MtC and T73 gave me for Christmas. Talk about generous sharing! They even gave me something to put in the glass.
  11. I think the CdV is yummy. My grown children all spent the night with me last night and both the girls thought it was tasty and pretty. And the mimosas for breakfast was pretty darn good, too.
  12. "For an easy, and cheap fix - I use a sports squeeze bottle." What a great idea, Alyssa. Wish I had thought of that. Thanks. Edit: Damn. I forgot how to quote again.
  13. This thread reminds me of my current favorite saying, which I have been trying to find out who said it first for reference purposes - "Saying something over and over doesn't make it true. Unless, of course, you are saying you are repetitive and boring." I would like to attach this to my signature if you know where to give credit.
  14. Welcome, Cooper. Those new babies are wonderful creatures, aren't they? Congrats.
  15. Happy Birthday! Seems like I've known you for 52 years. Oh, wait. I have.
  16. Came home from playing with the new granddaughter - oh - and her parents - made myself a Plymouth and Noilly Pratt martini only to discover (shudder) the olives I grabbed at the grocery were packed in olive oil. Bummer. But the granddaughter is still the smartest most beautiful.....well, you know.
  17. My first martini made with Junipero gin. Rather good. I also received my first bottle of Lucid today. Now T can quit guarding his bar so closely.
