  1. I've never indulged, but I won't deny that the temptation wasn't there.
  2. Slerpis, which is better than what Kup and Greytail are drinking.

  5. One of those fell into my glass tonight.
  6. Howdy Podner. KY absinthe...sounds slick and...juicy.
  7. Brewsberry (Black and Blueberry) Mead from 2013.
  8. I don't know how historically accurate it is, but the film Beloved Infidel starring Gregory Peck and Deborah Kerr had no shortage of implications that Fitzgerald was fond of drinking. I haven't seen it in a while and I don't remember if there were any specific references to absinthe in the film, or Hemingway. Hollywood films are historically accurate, y'all know.
  9. Prickly pear mead, and Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers. A Night At Birdland Vol. 1.
  10. Happy Very-Belated Bill! I'll probably text you, come the Morn. One of my coworkers shares your birfday. He said he couldn't remember it ever lining up with Easter Sunday before either.
  11. Gruet Pinot Noir 2010 and Sonic Youth's Sonic Nurse Album.
  12. Started with Baron Herzog's Merlot. Moved up to Gruet's 2010 Pinot Noir. A whiny night.
  13. Partially frozen or chilled water bottles might work as well. It probably won't be the presentation you were looking for but it could be a little more hands on, and educational. I think a large cooler with ice will keep them all pretty cool...depending on how long the party goes. You can always adjust the flow rate on a lid and by squeezing the bottle.
