Hehehe! Happy belated, Ben!

Indeed! Thanks, Ben!

Thank you, everyone! I had a nice day visiting with an uncle that I haven't seen in 20 years. We were able to see my father and grandmother in their rehab facilities. Car accidents suck. Followed up with a nice dinner with a few friends and now some relaxation. Oh, I received a new fly rod from Sheri and the kids. Look out Joe!

Happy Birthday, Jules! Hugs from all of us here.

KATE! Hello! Yeah, FAC104 should drop by once in a while. Although, I should talk. Real life has taken some turns for me and I don't get around much any more.

I hope you were able to find a bit of cheers for your birthday, my friend! -
I'm a Californian living in Minnesota, so I feel your pain. Although, there are a few decent places in the Minneapolis area. It has been a while since I purchased a bottle of VC, but a few weeks ago I had a few tastes of it with friends and I still enjoy it.

She is a Princess and this is her day.

Happy Birthday, Princess! -
My garden has lots of wormwood growing around it. No bitter tomato's yet! I don't have any genepi yet. There's a nice place (far away from the pontica) ready for them, though.

Have a wonderful birthday, young lady!

A little cheap red wine this evening.

Sandy Mush does have a nice selection. Since A.a. grows wild here, getting those plants were easy. I ended up getting my pontica from another source. Rhizomes are the way to go. Things are just getting going after hibernation this winter, but I can see that I'm going to have a complete carpet of pontica. Wow, does that stuff spread. My A.a. is just starting to show some green.

I agree about the cleaning/sanitizing/etc being a pain. I frequently brew 1 gallon experiments and it gets to be a lot of work. It sure is fun, though! There have only been a couple of commercial meads that I have tried. J.Bird Winery makes some decent stuff near me. They are a lower abv mead, but tasty. His Egypt'n Mead that is made with hibiscus is really nice.

I have the same reaction to handling A.a.. Itching, sneezing, throat irritation and sinus reaction. I will admit, that what happened to Phoenix at the party was worse than anything that happens to me. I got the sniffles a bit after messing with the A.a., but I think you were in it a bit more than me, Phoenix.

Hello, Kjetil. -
That is going to change for me, this evening. I'm going to have a little absinthe with other enthusiasts later.

Hello and welcome! -
Very enjoyable night cap, indeed. Especially, when sipped next to a nice bon fire!

Very cool! -
Same for me. *sigh* No alcohol has been consumed here since the end of January. I plan to rectify that situation this coming Saturday evening!
