Just spotted this at my local liquor store...
The batch # is literally written on it with a Sharpie.
Any ideas? I could find nothing under the reviews.

TECH DIVER? Are you serious? How weird. I am doing my first somewhat "technical" dive tomorrow!
Thanks for the link!

I've tried their Wormwood Wit and the 100% Rye.....I would like to get my hands on the Red Absinthe

I'm rather interested in it as well, but as far as I can tell none of the people that sell it ship to or are located in delaware.

I find their experimental collection even more interesting than the absinthe!

At the 2010 ADI Whiskey and Moonshine conference, there was a "craft whiskey blind shootout", so to speak. The Corsair folks did pretty well.

I picked up a bottle this weekend. Batch 6.
Good stuff. Less 'green' tasting, and a bit more 'flowery'. Which I guess would make sense as it's essentially a blanche with hibiscus etc. There's still plenty of the anise/wormwood/typical absinthe flavors in the mix mind you. And it's not gone so far as 'perfumey'. I thought it was really well balanced. It's just that some of the herbiness has been supplanted by a floral sweetness (not sugary sweetness).

I like it too. The hibiscus never strays into into acrid territory but the tarragon is a just a touch too much for my ideal though. I wouldn't hesitate to get another bottle (provided I was already well stocked with a few absinthes I consider essential first).

Damn, I really need to find some of this. All in due (employed) time.
