This guy is at it again.

Clicky.

He links TARN in the fist video, and WS in the new video.

The guy means well, and has some of it right, but also drops the ball a bit...I love the "eat the tree"
remark regarding wormwood...Still, could be worse.
Ron
He's definitely harmless, in that he's not intentionally misleading people. But if you're doing educational videos, shouldn't the information you put out be correct?!

I mean, the interesting thing is that they're actually identifying things correctly while they taste test. There's a reason the La Fee tastes like black jelly beans, and there's a reason why Lucid does not. They taste the wormwood in the Clandestine, but they just can't put their fingers on it. It would have been great to hear them describe the absinthes using the terminology which applies to absinthe, instead of either "black jelly bean," "watery" or "cut grass."

And for cryin' out loud, thujone is not a hallucinogen, no matter how much you consume, or how much of the plant you eat. By saying that it is, he's going to reinforce the thujone myth and this ridiculous cycle will continue.

He seems VERY hyper especially in the first video. It's good to see more and more people speaking out against setting it on fire. Even if all of his info isn't 100% correct at least he's pointing people in the right direction. It'd be interesting to see if his "intensity" decreases when he isn't being filmed.
Ron
Speaking of hyper, have you watched the Wine Library TV episode on the WS main page? THAT is a great educational video.

Love me some Gary Vaynerchuk! abs-cheers.gif
Ron
I know you do!

I actually look at this guy as a bit of a Gary knock-off. He even uses some of the same affectations.

Harmless guy, yes. Entertaining and informative? Eh, not so much. Could be better.

Had to go mix up a mo-puh-histo to get through this one. wink.gif
