One of the tenets of fine cuisine is that is has to look appetizing. That cupcake looks like a yeast infection. Dislike.

They look and sound good to me! I might just try making some of those tonight despite the fact that I don't have much for baking skills.

1. That's an old post, an old recipe, and an old photo. 2. I've made them, with Lucid, and the cupcakes were very, very anisey, and the glaze was great. 3. Pass on the cupcakes, make some chocolate ones instead, and glaze them with Lucid (or some other real absinthe) glaze. 4. You can't knock her for using Absente, unless you want to comment on the blog itself. Which I don't care enough to do at this point in my evening, but maybe somebody more eloquent than I should.
