Earlier, I'd seen some discussion about possible "dead leaf" in DP's absinthes. Since I just received the newest batch of Pacifique, I thought I'd revisit the color issue.

Here are 4, in 20ish ml doses: (Shall we play the identification game? In no particular order, these are Walton Waters (batch 9 of '09), Pacifique, Duplais Blanche, Meadow of Love (batch 7 of '09). )

and louched (all at 3.5:1)
