I realize that this fix for the drip of the Glass Absinthe Dripper/brouilleur has probably been around for awhile, but I just tried it and it works perfectly. As I have several, glass brouilleur's, this fix is really appreciated. Putting a sugar over the hole does not produce the required drip and if you don't use sugar.well.then ice really does not work either. As A.E. stated "Imagination is more important than knowledge." So simple and works perfectly. Thanks to Delaware Phoenix Distillery's web page where the below photo is from. A glass marble over the drip hole.

Try finding a marble that's a tad lopsided. You can rotate it to adjust the drip speed. Here is my little carefully-chosen gem! abs-cheers.gif

I think I've seen this circulate around here before, that being said, It's a very effective solution.

I used to poor slowly over an ice cube in the brouilleur when I didn't want to break out a fountain for a slow drip, but then that defeats the purpose of a brouilleur!
