C'est quoi l'absinthe en purée?
Aggelos
Purée (trs : mashed potatoes) would be a glass of absinthe with little water.

Say for example that the optimum water vs absinthe proportions would be 4 to 1, purée is more 2 to 1, Eau de Moule (mussle's water) would be 5 or 6 to 1.

I tend to drink purées in winter as a matter of fact

Nice topic. Definitely going to use some of these to mystify people around me, maybe the wiser ones will discover what they means wink.gif.

I'll take a green virgin in mussle's water, please. ( I'd murder the original french if I ever tried to speak that.)

Totally prepared for the day to wow hipsters just hopping on for the mystique/reputation and getting to return some pretentiousness." Oh absente? I suppose, if you like your faux-absinthe made in a back woods bathtub! Ah-ha-ha-ha, how bourgeois. Adieu!"

Throw in a beerfest quote or two, quest completed! laugh.gif

I'll bet some of those go back pretty far. Thanks for the post.

Thegreenimp strikes again.

It's been about a year or two since I killed the last of the bottle I had. I've love to get some again after my bank account has recovered a little.

It may well be the green haze being cast over everything, however reading this was captivating (in a very twisted sense of the word). I'm intrigued. Must reread when my comprehension levels rise. poke.gif Thank you for the mental expansion.......I think. twitchsmile.gif
