So, my birthday is coming up quickly now and my mom was going to order me some Mansinthe as a present. She just told me the other day that she cannot seem to find anyone who will ship it to WAshington State.

I looked into it and it seems that BEVMO will not ship liquor to WA.

DUNY is having an approval issue with NY state and do not have an ETA on Mansinthe (otherwise they do ship to WA)

The JUG SHOP doesn't ship to Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Utah, Virginia, Washington.

MarketViewLiquor will only ship spirits within New York state.


Does anyone know where or how I can get Mansinthe shipped to Washington?? Any trustworth sources or loopholes I can go about?

As you can see, that's a European vendor. While the shipping is comparatively cheap for 3 bottles, it's still rather expensive compared to US vendors that ship for free. Personally, if I was ordering from Liqueurs de France, I'd definitely pick up 3 of the many other tasty treats that are NOT available in the US. On that Matter-Luginbühl page is a variety of nice Europe only offerings that are in the same family as Mansinthe.

I actually quite enjoyed the glass of Mansinthe I had when I got to try it. But just IMO, it's something that can wait until DUNY resolves their issues with Mansinthe and the rest of the Tempus Fugit line. There are better choices for roughly the same price currently available from them.

And that was the point of the post. Drink Up New York has been out of stock on Mansinthe and some others for a while. This is an alternative, at a reasonable cost, in the meanwhile.

If you can buy Duplais or Vieux Pontarlier where you are, then you should be able to buy Mansinthe (in theory, anyway) as they have the same U.S. importer.

Worth checking out, it might be able to be special-ordered for you.
