The guy behind that music is the bassist for Agalloch and Sculptured, two very respectable, serious metal bands. My Peridot project is heavily influenced by Agalloch.

It is too funny Peridot. The music is actually quite interesting. Now I'd better get over to the proper absinthe and music thread.

My head began to throb before the halfway. Perversly, I persevered. It throbbed worse. I liked it. In a painful kind of way. Once.

The first time I heard Especially Likely Sloth it was while I was working at the record store. I came in for my shift and my boss said, "Hey, you have to hear this shit the bassist from Agalloch sent me. As soon as I heard it I thought of you. This is totally your style."

When he first played it I was insulted. But as I listened I started to think, "Man, this shit is really brilliant..."

I think Hiram needs to have that play real low in the background.
