What do you prefer to listen to while you drink your Absinthe?

Apparently the active thread on absinthe and music with 455 replies, pinned in this very section, was insufficient?
It only goes back
a year.Edit: Oops, I now see that the Buh of Pan has already referenced it.

I'm not just another pretty spider, you know.

I'm learning.

Learning what though?

Might better ask what I am NOT learning!
Dried apricots and peanuts make a fulfilling afternoon snack.
Pan Buh is not just another squishy spider.
Oregonians are a bunch of hydrophobic pussies.
Pick a topic, I'm learning something.

Don't listen to these sarcastic nay-sayers. Here's my
favourite absinthe-drinking song EVER!!

There's a pinned thread on music. This thread is now about teaching me new things.
Get with the program, Pear-y Doh!

Trust me, I wouldn't post that in the proper thread where what I have only seriously contributed.
Listen to the song.

I tried listening to the song P, but for some reason, I can only get the first 2 seconds of it, then it ends. Maybe it's me.

Works fine for me right now. If it won't play in a browser window you can right click on it and choose to download it. It's so worth it.

The guy behind that music is the bassist for Agalloch and Sculptured, two very respectable, serious metal bands. My Peridot project is heavily influenced by Agalloch.

It is too funny Peridot. The music is actually quite interesting. Now I'd better get over to the proper absinthe and music thread.

Listen to the song.

Hahaha I got you man.
That's a nice song and I love how people get out of topic.

That song is deranged.
I can't believe I listened to the whole thing, but I wanted to see how it ended.

I pulled the ejector lever about half way through.

So did I.
Did anything spectacular happen at the ending?

My head began to throb before the halfway. Perversly, I persevered. It throbbed worse. I liked it. In a painful kind of way. Once.

The first time I heard Especially Likely Sloth it was while I was working at the record store. I came in for my shift and my boss said, "Hey, you have to hear this shit the bassist from Agalloch sent me. As soon as I heard it I thought of you. This is totally your style."
When he first played it I was insulted. But as I listened I started to think, "Man, this shit is really brilliant..."

I think Hiram needs to have that play real low in the background.
