Green Fairy Bar, Copper Mountain, Colorado, Is this a record? Options

The Green Fairy Bar has the amazing ambition to stock more absinthes than any other bar in the USA.

And Eric Turner, joint owner, wants to use that position to build on and to educate and expose Americans to the pleasures of absinthe.

More details on my blog for those that are especially interested but in short he already has 23 absinthes lined up, including NO, Pacifique, La Clandestine etc. I'm sure members here will encourage him to take the DP absinthes and Marteau too.

I asked Eric if he was focusing on quantity too much and I loved his answer:

"No, not at all. We will be carrying some of these "absinths" for comparison only. I can’t wait for the fools to come in and order Koruna because it is Czech. I’ll sell it to them, but I will give them a taste of La Clandestine or N.O. on me, on the side."



But in the meantime, Eric has a question: is there any other bar in the USA which stocks more absinthes? Or is this a record?
